Tesla Unveils the All-New 2025 Model Y

Tesla has officially revealed the all-new 2025 Model Y, codenamed “Juniper,” on its Chinese website. This latest refresh of Tesla’s best-selling electric SUV brings a host of improvements, from fresh looks to upgraded tech.
Design and Exterior

The new Model Y retains its iconic design but with several enhancements. The front features a bold, Cybertruck-inspired full-width light bar, complemented by sleeker main headlights and a more aerodynamic bumper design. The rear boasts new C-shaped LED taillights and a reflective light bar with the Tesla name spelled out. The car is available in five colors: Glacier Blue, Stealth Grey, Pearl White, Quicksilver, and Ultra Red.

Interior and Comfort
Inside, the cabin remains familiar but upgraded. The minimalist dashboard is dominated by a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, with an additional eight-inch screen for rear passengers loaded with games. The rear seats now fold electrically, and the front seats feature both ventilation and heating. The car also offers new ambient lighting and improved soundproofing with thicker glass. Interior color options include Black, White, and Cream.

Performance and Efficiency
The new Model Y features new suspension, hubs, and tires, aiming to improve ride quality and reduce noise. The car’s length has been slightly increased to boost aerodynamics and efficiency. The cargo space has been expanded to a total of 2,130 liters, including a frunk under the front bonnet.

Technology and Features
The Model Y now includes enhanced Autopilot functions with a new front camera for better self-driving capabilities. The car also features a new camera housing on the flank behind the front wheels and more aerodynamic wheels. The boot door opens automatically as you approach the car.

Availability and Market
The refreshed Model Y is currently available in China, Australia, and several other Asian countries. Tesla has not yet announced a release date for the U.S. or Europe, but it’s expected to be available soon.
